The staff and duty manager (Shane and Kurt) went above and beyond to help us with a technical issue that was our fault. This meant we may not have been able to stay at the hotel. They should be commended for their people skills and customer service. They also treated me very kindly and didn't judge or mock me for my mistake. If it wasn't for them, we wouldn't have been able to enjoy our trip at all. So a BIG thank you again!! The location was lovely and central to places we wanted to visit in North Wales by car. The rooms were nicely decorated and modern. It was also a lovely touch to have a Smeg fridge and coffee/tea in the room as well. The hotel breakfast was very good. Lots of selection for hot food.

Breakfast was excellent both mornings. Plenty of choice and all items well stocked and replenished. Coffee was nice too. Dinner on the first evening was excellent. Seabass was perfectly cooked. On the second evening the food was still great but the service was a bit slow. It was a nice touch having a Saxophonist playing in the foyer all evening. This created a nice ambience. The bar staff were excellent and the range of cocktails was good. We enjoyed the Espresso Martini. We used the spa which was also excellent. It was lovely sitting in the outside jacuzzi whilst the rain was falling but we were still warm!

Beautiful hotel, amazing spa, delicious food. I booked this hotel as it was a good location to do the velocity 2 at zipworld. (Only 45 minutes drive away) The reception staff were very welcoming :) the bedroom was spacious and had a very comfortable bed. I loved the decor of the hotel. The spa was beautiful and great tip from the staff for the quiet time which meant we actually had the spa to ourselves for an hour. The email response from the spa staff was excellent and ensured I could book a session with the hotel discount. Beautiful scenery, I would absolutely love to stay again in the near future ~:D

The staff were very good (John in the restaurant, Sam and Fin behind the bar); worked hard, friendly, chatted to me and my daughter. The fridge in the room was good and spacious enough to have drinks in there. Everywhere was very clean. The bar was a nice welcoming area. The hotel is only 15 mins or so from Zip World Betws-y-Coed and, when it opens at the end of March 24, Zip World Conwy is opposite the hotel.
